I have been raising my 8 1/2 year old grandson since he was 16 months, even though you are never looking for something like that to happen, you know that it is your love for family to hold it all together.  I feel that family should always step up when it comes to children not letting them end up in the State hands.  It is not their fault.  It has been a learning experience, hard at times, but through it all we both are blessed to have each other, and others that also stepped up in our lives.
